Shih Poo Dogs and Puppies
Shih Tzu Poodle or Shih Poos (and Shihpoos or Shih-poos) - this is a cross between the shih tzu and the poodle.
Personality
They are usually great with kids. They're easily trained and friendly with everyone including your children's friends. They're generally on the milder side. On a range of 1-10, 10 being the most active (like a Jack Russel Terrier!), they will generally fall in the range of 3-5. Shih Pos are our gentlest dogs, and are an excellent choice for a retired person!
Size and Colors
Sizes vary, depending on the parents. Usually, they average from 5 to 15 pounds. They come in a variety of colors. Because they are non-shedding, they are excellent choices for families with allergy concerns.
Shih Poos and Pekepoos are very much alike, and most people cannot tell the difference. Folks that like the Shih Poos may also want to consider the Pekepoos.
