Schnoodle Dogs and Puppies
Schnoodles are a cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. We raise both Mini Schnoodle puppies and Standard Schnoodle puppies.
Most Schnoodles have a soft and fluffy coat, which is non-shedding, and quite well tolerated by most people with allergies.
Personality
On a range of 1-10, 10 being the most active (like a Jack Russel Terrier!), Schnoodles will generally fall in the range of 4-7. Schnoodles are quite intelligent and easily trained. They are very good with children, quite tolerant of a lot of rough-housing.
Size and Colors
Schnoodles vary in size, depending on the size of the parents. Mini schnoodles average 10-15 pounds. Larger than Mini schnoodles mature 15 to 22 pounds. Standard schnoodles typically mature 30 to 50 pounds. The most popular size is the Mini Schnoodle.

Additional Information about Schnoodle dogs and puppies:
Rarely, some schnoodles have a harsher, more terrier type coat, which sheds some while the pup is young, but sheds very little when the dog matures. Coat type is evident by about 5-6 weeks of age. Coat colors are quite varied - solids like black, silver, white, tan, apricot, sables (a mixture of gold or silver and black), and parti's too - black and white like holstein cows. Phantoms are also quite common - that's black and apricot like the color of doberman pinschers.
They are less active than most terriers, and do enjoy settling down while you read a book or watch TV. They love to play fetch outside, take long walks, and they love children! Standard Schnoodles are incredibly intelligent - in fact, the most intelligent dog I have ever worked with! One customer that purchased an 8 week old Standard Schnoodle taught her puppy 17 different commands in the first two weeks!
