Bichon Frise Dogs and Puppies
Bichon Frise look like puffy marshmallows!They have an unbelieveably white coat, very thick an luxurious. They are fun-loving dogs, good with children.
All Bichon Frise have a curly and fluffy coat, which is non-shedding, and quite well tolerated by most people with allergies.
Personality
On a range of 1-10, 10 being the most active (like a Jack Russel Terrier!), Bichon Frise will generally fall in the range of 3-7. They are VERY devoted to their families, and enjoy partaking in any activity with the family.
Size and Colors
Bichon Frise vary in size, depending on the size of the parents. Our Bichon Frise average between 7 and 14 pounds.
Bichons can be groomed different ways. The traditional trim is about 2" long all over. This is a scissor cut that should be done by a professional groomer, roughly every 6 weeks. Shorter trims will need less frequent grooming. Groomers enjoy working with the coat because it is dense, thick, and curly - making it very enjoyable to scissor. Brushing should be done once or twice a week using a slicker brush. Some of our Bichons are below, in different grooming styles.
