Eleanor, a 5 pound chocolate tiny toy Poodle, was bred to Dion, a 5 pound Yorkie. They have 3 Yorkie Poo puppies, a girl and 2 boys, born August 8, 2009. We expect these little Yorki-Poos to mature about 5 to 7 pounds.

Yorki-Poos are one of the more outgoing and happy dogs that we raise. They're very social, and in fact, they really seem to need a companion, whether it's another dog, cat, or person. Activity levels tend to sit around medium, with a few a bit less active than medium and some more active than medium. They're fun loving, entertaining dogs, bigger in personality than their small size.

Yorkie-Poos are also non-shedding, which adds greatly to their popularity. They're a wonderful mix for families with allery issues. Professional groomings should be planned every 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the severity of allergies, and the length of the coat preferred.
