Sugar, a fun loving, 8 pound Bichon Frise, was bred to Dion, a little 5 pound Yorkie. They have 4 Yorki-Chon puppies, 2 girls and 2 boys. We expect Sugar's Yorkie-Chon puppies to mature 6 to 9 pounds.

Yorkie Chons are very similar to the Yorkie Poos, and often a better choice for families with fairly young children. The Yorki-Chons are a bit sturdier than the Yorkie-Poos, with more muscle and a stronger frame. Because of this, they are suited for even fairly young children. This is a social mix, fun loving, and eager to play. They are generally medium in activity level, though quite a few of our Yorkie Chons are a bit milder than medium in activity level, since we have some really sweet, mellow Bichons (Ivry is an example of this.)

Yorki-Chons are non-shedding and allergy friendly. Neither the Bichon or the Yorkie shed. The coats are medium in density - this can help people with bad allergies as the less than thick coat will carry fewer allergens around (from the environment.) They can be groomed in a variety of styles - some prefer a Benji look, other prefer a shorter, low maintenance groom.
