Charm, an 8 pound gold and white Shih Tzu, was bred to Fonzie, a 9 pound Bichon Frise. They have 4 Shih-Chon puppies, 2 girls and 2 boys, born August 19, 2009. We expect Charm's Shi-Chon puppies to mature between 8 and 12 pounds.

Shi-Chons are great with kids. They're remarkably durable, quite sturdy, and playful enough for kids. While they have playful moments, they also have mellow moments too, very happy to lap-sit for extended periods of time,while the kids to their homework, you read a book, etc.

When we started working with the Zu-Chons, we rather expected them to look exactly like the Shih Poos. They are very similar in appearance, with the benefit of a denser, fluffier coat. This coat is non-shedding, allergy-friendly, and the most luxurious coat you cold imagine. If you like to fondle your dog, you'll very much enjoy this coat.
