Bon Bon, one of our black and white Shih Tzu girls, was bred to Frosty, one of our Bichon Frise males. They have 4 beautiful Shih Chon puppies (also known as Shichons or Chon-Tzu) born March 23, 2008. There are three girls and 1 boy in the litter. We expect these Chon Tzu puppies to mature between 8 and 12 pounds, a great size for children.

Shih Chons are an excellent family dog. Families with allergy issues will appreciate the non-shedding and allergy friendly coat of the Shih Chon. They are average in intelligence, generally housebroken within 4 to 6 weeks of going to a new home. This mix has become one of our most popular mixes, due to the wonderful nature of the Shih Chon, and their adorable appearance. Colors vary - both solid colors and parti colors are very common.

Shichons are fantastic with children, playful, outgoing, and very social. They also have a very sweet side (from the Shih Tzu). They enjoy a lap, and are patient about waiting to play, when homework needs to be done. They can be groomed in a variety of styles, from very short, to very long. The grooming style you choose will most affect the look of the dog.

Bon Bon has 2 Shichon girls - sable and white colored. That's gold with black highlights, with a white background. Photos below:
