Tahiti, a white Mini Schnauzer, was bred to Milo, a chocolate and cream (very rare color!) small Mini Poodle. They have 5 Miniature Schnoodle puppies, 1 girl and 4 boys, born April 25, 2008. We expect Tahiti's Mini Schnoodle puppies to mature between 14 and 17 pounds.

Schnoodles vary in size, depending on the size of the parents. We raise Mini Schnoodles, Larger-than-Mini Schnoodles, and Standard Schnoodles. All Schnoodles are a mix of Schnauzer (mini or standard) and Poodle (toy, mini or standard.) Schnoodles, any size, are the most intelligent and trainable dog that we have ever worked with. Many are housbroken in less than a week, though 2 to 6 weeks is most typical. They are alert, friendly, social, cheerful, and wonderful with kids. They crave attention, and work very hard to please. They are athletic and sturdy - enjoying outdoor activities of any difficulty. They're also great in the house, with a mellow side to match their more active outdoor personality. Most are medium or mild to medium in activity level.

Schnoodles are incredibily popular for the reasons above, plus the fact that they are non-shedding. Both the Schnauzer and Poodle are non-shedding, as are the Schnoodles. This is a perfect choice for families with allergy issues, or for families that just don't like the mess of hair around the house. Grooming can be done in a variety of styles. Most people choose to have their schnoodles groomed in a terrier type trim, though they look just as nice in a shorter trim as well.
