Nehi, one of our smaller salt and pepper colored Miniature Schnauzer, was bred to Milo, a chocolate sable and cream Miniature Poodle male. They have 6 little Schnoodle puppies, all girls! These Miniature Schnauzer Poodle mix puppies were born on March 21, 2008. We expect these puppies to mature between 9 and 15 pounds.

This is a repeat of a breeding we did last year. Their last litter of Mini Schnoodle puppies were rather unusual - they had the softest coats I have ever seen on a Schnoodle puppy. Very thick, fluffy, and soft, a wonderful texture. We hope that most of these puppies will share this quality. Mini Schnoodles are one of our most popular mixes for very good reason. They are terrific with kids. They're a sturdy little dog, capable of lots of excercise playing fetch or going for long walks or hikes. At the same time, they do really enjoy hanging out with the family during mellow times too. Schnoodles are incredibly intelligent, inheriting this trait from both the Poodle and the Schnauzer. Most Schnoodles, regardless of size (we also raise Standard sized Schnoodles) are generally housebroken within 2 to 4 weeks of going to their new home, and many are housebroken in even less time.

This mix is very suitable for people with all but the very worst allergies. Both the Schnauzer and the Poodle are non-shedding. Coats vary in color, but generally are of the following colors: Most common is the Sable schnoodle, which matures similar to the color of a salt and pepper colored Schnauzer. Rarely, some sable schnoodles have a RED background color . Phantom colors (black with creamy gold or apricot markings like a Doberman Pinscher) are fairly common as well. Solid black or blue with or without small white markings are also fairly common. We also breed for Parti colors (very rare in the schnoodle world) like black and white or sable and white. This is a color we work extensively with. Finally, we do also work with chocolate and chocolate patterns as well.
