Ginger, a 12 pound salt and pepper Mini Schnauzer, was bred to Pierre, a cream colored 7 pound Toy Poodle male. They have 2 Mini Schnoodle puppies, a girl and a boy, born July 2, 2010. We expect Ginger's Schnoodle puppies to mature between 10 and 14 puonds.
Mini Schnoodles are a favorite dog among families with children. They are wonderful with kids - fun loving, playful, and incredibly intelligent. They love learning tricks, and excel at obedience. They're generally housebroken within 2 to 6 weeks of going to their new home.
Another reason the Schnoodles are so popular is their allergy-friendly, non-shedding coat. This coat is wavy, medium in density, and of a texture that repels dirt, dust, and other environment allergens. When allergies are an issue, it's certainly best to bathe a schnoodle weekly or every other week, but because the coat is dirt repellent, they're easy to have around when allergies are not an issue.
