Taffy, a white large Toy Poodle female, was bred to Fonzie, a 9 pound Bichon Frise male. They have 3 Poo-Chon puppies, 2 boys and a girl, born July 4, 2009. We expect Taffy's Poo-Chon puppies to mature between 8 and 10 pounds.

Most Poochons are medium in activity level, neither overly active or extremely mild. They're great with kids, and quite intelligent, generally housebroken within 2 to 6 weeks of going home. This is a nice mix for someone looking for a curly coated, muttely yet poodley dog.

They have a perfect coat for most people with doggy allergies. Some people cannot tolerate any dog, but if someone can tolerate the poodle coat, these will be just as allergy-friendly. This non-shedding coat requires regular professional grooming, every 6 to 12 weeks depending on the style chosen. Many people like a puppy cut - with the coat trimmed all over to about 1 1/2 inch long.
