Spirit, an 8 pound Bichon Frise, was bred to Willie, a 5 1/2 pound Toy Poodle. They have 6 Poo-Chon puppies, 2 boys and 4 girls, born March 24, 2010. We expect Spirit's Poo-chon puppies to mature between 7 tnd 10 pounds.

Most Poochons are medium in activity level, neither overly active or extremely mild. They're great with kids, and quite intelligent, generally housebroken within 2 to 6 weeks of going home. This is a nice mix for someone looking for a curly coated, muttely yet poodley dog.

They have a perfect coat for most people with doggy allergies. Some people cannot tolerate any dog, but if someone can tolerate the poodle coat, these will be just as allergy-friendly. This non-shedding coat requires regular professional grooming, every 6 to 12 weeks depending on the style chosen. Many people like a puppy cut - with the coat trimmed all over to about 1 1/2 inch long.
