Blossom, one of our friendliest Bichon Frise girls, was bred to Arthur, a tiny chocolate colored 6 pound Toy Poodle male. They have 5 Poo-Chon puppies, 2 girls and 3 boys, born April 6, 2008. We expect these Poodle - Bichon mix puppies to mature in a range between 7 and 11 pounds.

Poo-Chons are a non-shedding, allergy friendly mix, ideal for people with even severe allergies, looking for a hypo-allergenic dog. Both the Poodle and Bichon Frise are non-shedding. Coats are strongly curly, shiny and luxurious. Professional grooming is necessary every 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the style of groom desired.

Poo-Chons are bright, fun loving, and social, much more social than a purebred Poodle. The poodle introduces intelligence and trainability to this mix. The bichon brings it's social, playful nature. This cross is wonderful with kids. They're quite athletic, and they enjoy outdoor activities. Housebreaking is usually accomplished in 3 to 6 weeks, using crate training.
