Zorra, an orange sable Pomeranian, 5 pounds, was bred to Ernie, a 4 1/2 pound chocolate and white Parti colored Toy Poodle male. They have 1 Pom-a-Poo puppy, a male, born June 22, 2009. We expect this little guy to mature between 6 and 9 pounds. Likely closer to 6 pounds, but he's a chubby one! This is likely due to the fact that he's an only puppy, and drinks as much as he could want.
Pom-a-Poos, Pom-Poos, Poo-Poms, and Pomapoos are all Pomeranian Poodle mixes. These are a bright and cheerful dog, generally medium or even medium to active in activity level. This litter will do fine with smaller children, though some of the smalles Pomapoos are really not suited for little kids under about 9 years of age.
Pomapoos are quite bright, generally easily trained. I say generally, because, they are easy to spoil, and a spoiled puppy is hard to train. They need to learn discipline and manners just as a larger dog does. Don't be fooled! They are quite capable of being housebroken in 2 to 6 weeks. Pom-poos get along well with other dogs, and cats too, in fact, they play much like a kittie, pouncing and chasing just like a kitten. They are very entertaining.
