Sweet Pea, an apricot 7 pound Toy Poodle, was bred to Kaiser, a 9 pound fawn colored Pekingese. They have 3 Pekepoo puppies, all boys, born September 2, 2009. We expect Sweet Pea's Peek-a-Poo puppies to mature 8 to 12 pounds.

Many people call us looking for an easy going, child friendly dog. This is one of our top suggestions. The Pekepoos (aka Peek-a-Poos, Pek-a-Poos, and Peke-a-Poos) are a great choice for those looking for a non shedding, family friendly dog. In this case, the puppies will mature small enough to be carried easily, yet large enough to not be terribly fragile. They are remarkably sturdy for their small size. The Peekapoos are very bright, owing to the Poodle part of the mix, generally housebroken in 2 to 6 weeks.

The Pekingese Poodle mix is non-shedding, a great choice for most allergy sufferers. It's also wonderful not to have hair all over the house! Pekepoos are fairly mild mannered, generally mild to medium in activity level. They love a good romp outside with the kids, and also enjoy relaxing in a lap in the house. They play like a cat!
