Monique, a medium sized Maltese female (8 pounds), was bred to Billy Bob, a silver and white parti colored small Miniature Poodle male. They have 4 Maltipoo puppies (aka Maltepoo or Multipoo), born March 30, 2008. We expect these Maltepoo puppies to mature between 7 and 10 pounds.

Maltipoos are one of our most popular dogs. They are quite intelligent, generally housebroken within 3 to 6 weeks of going to their new home. They have a non-shedding, allergy friendly coat, perfect for folks looking for a hypo-allergenic dog. People with all but the very worst allergies can tolerate a Maltepoo quite well. Colors vary - some are solid colored, some are multi colored partis, and some are sables. The variety is amazing.

Maltipoos are a very entertaining mix. It's common for people to have more than one, because they are so fun to watch play. This mix is good with kids - they like to play and fetch, but they also enjoy quiet companionship as well. They vary in size, from as small as 4 pounds (not suitable for little children) and as large as 12 pounds. Generally, they are medium in activity level, though we often have milder Maltipoos as well.
