Precious, a 38 pound cream colored Standard Poodle, was bred to Trampis, a 40 pound F1 Goldendoodle. They have 6 small Standard Goldendoodle puppies, 3 girls and 3 boys, born May 25, 2010. We expect Precious's Goldendoodle puppies to mature between 40 and 50 pounds.

Goldendoodles are very intelligent, very social dogs, great for families with kids. They enjoy playing outside with the children, and are gentle enough to relax in the house during quiet times. This mix is very bright, due to both the Poodle and Golden Retriever's intelligence. Housebreaking is generally completed within 2 to 4 weeks of going to the new home, and many housebreak within days.

Goldendoodles vary in their shedding level. Some shed very little, and other shed even less. They're not a perfect solution for people with more severe allergies, but they are a great choice for families with mild allergies, or for those that just don't want to deal with the mess of lots of hair in the house.
