Darcy, an F1 apricot colored Standard Goldendoodle, 45 pounds, was bred to Smiley, an F1 Standard Goldendoodle male, 55 pounds. They have 7 Standard F2 Goldendoodle puppies, 3 boys and 4 girls, born July 10, 2009. We expect these Goldendoodle puppies to mature between 45 and 60 pounds.

Goldendoodles are very intelligent, very social dogs, great for families with kids. They enjoy playing outside with the children, and are gentle enough to relax in the house during quiet times. This mix is very bright, due to both the Poodle and Golden Retriever's intelligence. Housebreaking is generally completed within 2 to 4 weeks of going to the new home, and many housebreak within days.

Goldendoodles vary in their shedding level. Some shed very little, and other shed even less. They're not a perfect solution for people with more severe allergies, but they are a great choice for families with mild allergies, or for those that just don't want to deal with the mess of lots of hair in the house.
